WHAT IS THE BUNNY ROCK?

The Bunny Rock is a 10K, 5K ,and Kids Egg Dash that hop-pens every year on the Saturday before Easter! Join us for a fun 10K and 5K for all and/or bring the kiddos for the Egg Dash as we spring into the season with great swag, Easter festivities, and 80’s vibes that will have you rockin’ out for the rest of the day!

KIDS EGG DASH: INFO

Egg Dash is for children ages 2-10 with over 5000 filled eggs.

Sections will be roped off by ages:
2-3 YEAR OLDS
4-5 YEAR OLDS
6-7 YEAR OLDS
8-10 YEAR OLDS

The Kids Egg Dash isn’t an exact distance. All kids will line up in their “age section” at the designated “egg hunt area” and “dash” to get eggs scattered all over Arvey Field (Grant Park).

Egg Dash will start exactly at 10:30 for ALL AGES. Please be on time.


PACKET PICK-UP

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP

TIME: 7:30 – 8:45 AM (10K & 5K) // 7:30 – 10:15 AM (KIDS ONLY)

*If you are unable to attend Packet Pickup on the Friday before the race, you can pick it up on Race Day for a FEE. There is a $5.00 fee per packet, per paid participant that you can pay during registration or cash day-of. To avoid paying this fee, please attend Packet Pickup in person the days prior.


PACKET SHIPPING

Make your life easier and skip the lines! All you need to do is choose the packet shipping option during registration and we will have your race packet shipped directly to your front door for only $14.95! Your packet includes your race shirt, bib, and more!

If you opt for packet shipping during registration, there is no requirement to attend packet pick up. Packet shipping is a convenient option for those with tight schedules.

Please be sure to verify your mailing address during the registration process, as we are not responsible for misdirected packets. We will close packet mailing two weeks before the race, so be sure to sign up early! Packets will be shipped out the two to one week before the race.

*Packet shipping is per registrant, not per order.


AWARDS

The top three male and female overall and top three male & female finishers in each age group will receive a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal.

Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Race Director reserves the right to combine age groups.


TIMING & RESULTS

The Bunny Rock 10K & 5K is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

Clearly visible on the front of the torso
Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
Pinned in all four corners
Not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

There will be timing clocks at the start and finish lines. Results will be posted below live during the event and official results will be posted HERE.


GEAR CHECK

Gear Check will be available for all race participants starting at 7:30 am.

Before the race starts, you can leave a bag with your personal items at our Gear Check tent. Please make sure to use the provided tear off on your race bib and zip tie it to your bag. Our volunteers will need this so they can quickly and easily help you claim your bag after the race is over.

Any gear not picked up by on race day will be transported to our main office in Palatine, IL. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity.


REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Since the Easter Bunny has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds or exchanges, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various holiday festivities and situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. Refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.


RACE CHARITY

We’re proud to announce Red Door Animal Shelter as the official charity partner of the 2023 Bunny Rock Chicago! Red Door Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter committed to helping animals in need. Its primary focus is on the rescue, shelter and adoption of cats, dogs and rabbits—the three most popular pets in the United States.

DONATE TODAY!
$5 will provide meals for 12 cats.
$10 will buy lettuce for 8 rabbits.
$20 will pay for (adjective) vaccines.
$50 will buy a neuter & a microchip for a cat or dog.
$100 will provide life-saving emergency care.

VIRTUAL OPTION

Can’t make it to the Bunny Rock In-Person? No worries! You can run it virtually! Run a 10k or 5k, by yourself or with a large group, in the location of your choice, at any time of the day. Same race. Same swag. Just Your Location!
